Site plot?

After a conversation with people on the CB with different people, I started to wonder if the site maybe needed an overal plot. I don't mind us having one at all, but I want to know if you want it, and I also wondered what kind of plot people had in mind. Therefor I made this thread, would really appreciate it if you posted below with your thoughts, on having a plot or not, and maybe on a siteplot you have in mind yourself! Ideas are always welcome!

I think perhaps having an overall plot would be a good idea. Perhaps a sort of wizarding war or something to get the juices flowing.

I don't know if you want to use my ideas or not, because I'm really not that experienced in RPGing and site-making stuff, but maybe there could be an uprising in the ministry to make the adults mad or maybe you could even branch out on the thread you have already with Lady Vox. Remember the thread where she sets fire to the shrieking shack or something? It obviously wouldn't sit well with the ministry.

I don't really know what you could do with the students at Hogwarts.... If something big happened like the chamber of secrets, then the whole school would have to get involved. Maybe this year everyone should start focusing on making friends and allegiances so that they have a little bit of an idea of where to side when the war comes along.

Not knowing much about Lady Vox, other than that she's the big bad, it could be wise to start an overall plot sooner rather than later. This doesn't have to mean that she goes parading down the streets of London blowing things up -- Voldemort didn't even really come in as a threat until the end of book four, but the seeds were planted in the previous three.

Perhaps during the summer, things start to heat up. For plot sake, perhaps Lady Vox determined that the best way to attack the Wizarding World was through the children, or some sort of variation as such. You can make NPCs as students, who are planted into the school by Lady Vox (imperio-ed students, for example) and that could start to plant ideas of Vox's plot.

I'm with Damian on this one. Have rumours circulating and news articles or something in a Daily Prophet. We could use the NPC's as the ones that get the paper and start spreading the panic and news and whatnot. And like Lily suggested have the students make friends and things so that'll influence what side they take IF they decide to take a side.

I think that Lily, Damian and Ashley all have good ideas. But we need to get an orginisation (like the Order of the Phoenix) to go against this Lady Vox. Maybe they could have undercover agents to pretend to befriend the imperioed people and pass information to the orginisation.
Lady Vox could be held responsible for having a tantrum at the Three Broomsticks then do something really bad inside when she has her tantrum. Like maybe creating damage to something, because, like Damian said, you can't have Lady Vox go out and blow things up - you have to start small. Then she has to pay a fine and gets a warning from the ministry. Then she goes and messes things up again and then gradually she becomes bad, real, real bad.
