Instead of spending such a hassle explaining your attire to one another in posts, you can describe what you'll be wearing at the event. The event is formal, so have fun with it.

White dress-robes with black patterns sown into the material. It's rather plain and unremarkable (she doesn't have the money to afford such expensive and elegant clothes), but easy enough to run or move around in.
Black shoes. Hair tied up in a loose pony-tail.

Black dress with a black coat over it. high heel ankle boots, black dangling earrings surrounded by silver and gold, and a black pearl necklace. her blonde hair with blue streaks is curled to frame her face nicely.

A yellow strapless dress, the hem reaching just above the knee. Silver heels with a white clutch, and silver earrings.
