Personality: Marcus is the kind of person who would punch you just as easily as shake your hand. He tends to act on impulse and not think about the consequences. This does sometimes lead to awkward situations and it has made him a few enemies in the past. However, if Marcus doesn't think about the future, he thinks about the past even less. If someone insults him then he usually forgets it the next day, and he usually forgets if he ever insulted anyone himself. Some people say this is living in the moment. Other people say he's an idiot.

History: Mallory Bloem, a dragon keeper based in Greece, met the muggle Robert Oliver when he wandered into the path of a wild dragon one Spring. After some very quick spell work, she and a group of wizards managed to save him from almost certain death. He managed to escape with only minor scars on his back. It was when Mallory prepared to modify Robert's memory that she looked into his eyes and fell head over heels.
The two were married shortly after and Marcus was born a shortly after that. When Marcus received his letter saying that he had a space at Hogwarts, his parents were thrilled. Mark was raised by his father mostly since his mother was working in Greece, but he loves his mother very much. He takes after his mother in almost every way. He has her slight build, pointed face, and brown hair, as well as her love of dragons, and joyful nature. Robert Oliver tried to find some sort of connection between himself and his son and finally decided that his and Marcus' left ears looked alike.
Sometimes, Marcus' Uncle Trevor will take him out for a day. Marcus likes his uncle since he has read a lot of books about the wizarding world, despite being a squib, and is just generally fun to be with.
