Gewissen had recieved the payment from her now ex employer and had collated all of her cash and placed it into a holding she had in Gringotts. Whilst she was in Britain, it would suffice, before she returned to Germany. The Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley wasn't a particularly safe and secure place. Since she had dispatched the target that had brought her to Britain's shores, she had been steadily growing more and more curious about the slip of parchment she had found on the targets posession. She had decided that she would turn up at the specified time and day that had been listed. She was highly intrigued and she didn't really have anything to do with her time until she was approached by another client, and so she would act upon her desire and investiagte.

The Hogs Head was in Hogsmeade, and Gewissen had been wondering if she would struggle to find it at first. As soon as she set eyes upon the tavern, she realised straight away that it would not have been difificult to find at all. It was so very obvious in comparison to the other buildings surrounding it.

Gewissen wrapped her cloak a little tighter around her body before pushing open the door to the tavern. She stepped inside and carefully shut it behind her. She was highly surprised to find that there was nobody present other than a woman behind the counter. This was both promising and yet at the same time worrying. She would have to tread carefully and be delicate to say the least.

Gewissen approached the counter and placed one gloved hand on it, tapping her fingers against the side.

"Where is everybody?" Gewissen asked, feeling that being direct and forward was the best way to be in this particular situation.

Cecily busied herself behind the counter, Lady Vindex waiting for her guest upstairs. On days like this, it was best to keep to bar work and not get distracted by her art. Though to keep herself busy she was drying the glasses, one by one, and putting them below the counter. It was long work, but it was soothing in a strange way.

When the door opened her eyes flickered up for a moment before back to what she was doing, finishing off the glass as the woman began to tap her fingers on the side of the bar, placing the glass down and pressing a bell, though she imagined the Lady would've seen the woman enter, before turning to the woman with a small smile.

"We are closed at the moment," Cecily explained, as if there was nothing strange or wrong about a pub being closed at such a time. "May I 'elp you with something?"

Sleeping. Dreaming. Fire. Torture. Screaming. Pain.

Nubilia's eyes snapped open, their owner gasping to catch her breath, rolling onto her back so her bodyweight wasn't crushing her lungs. "Owww," she moaned, closing her eyes again and rubbing her side gingerly. Never again would she fall asleep on one of the chairs, should she ever experience such an amazing dream again and roll over, only to fall flat on the floor. And the floor had never been so unforgivingly hard. She propped her head up on one elbow, looking up blearily as she heard a bell ring. Groaning, Nubilia sat up, slowly stretching her legs out and getting to her feet.

"Alright, I'm coming. No need to ring a bloody bell about it," she muttered bitterly, grabbing her wand off the tabletop and pocketing it, still keeping a hand over it, though. You never knew when you'd need to whip it out and hex someone into oblivion, but Nubillia generally liked to keep a casual front when meeting clients. Not too serious, not too intimidating. Bearing that in mind, she went down the stairs, taking two at a time just like she did when she was still a teenager. Those good old days.

Seeing Cecily and a new woman standing with her, Nubillia wrinkled her nose slightly and flopped into the nearest chair, motioning for the woman to follow suit. "So you're that famous assassin, right? I'll give you this: you have a wicked taste on clothes." She inclined her head slightly at the cloak wrapped around the woman's body and the gloves covering her hands. "Very nice."

The woman behind the bar's explaination was correct as far as she was concerned, nothing seemed out of the ordinary for an establishment to be closed, not when she was aware of a meeting that was timed to occur. She was ready to respond to the woman and to think of some excuse as to why she would want to be here. The truth wouldn't quite suffice, it was something that Gewissen had learned over time. The truth was powerful, and dangerous. Many people had died because of the truth.

Then a woman appeared from behind the barwoman, and she made her way over to a seat. She didn't look in any way familiar, but Gewissen wasn't really expecting that. She gestured for Gewissen to sit with her and she was hesitant to do so, at least until the woman spoke. Famous assasin, if this woman knew that, then she was just the right type of woman that Gewissen wanted to find herself sharing company with.

"I have style with killing, so it just wouldn't be proper if I didn't have style with how I dressed also." Gewissen stated, pulling a chair out and delicatly sitting down on it, crossing her hands in her lap.

"If you know of me, then you should know that I will not readily let you see my true face." Gewissen explained. It was a policy that she always operated under, no exceptions.

//Cecily says she'll post when she's summoned or something, so I went to post first. Razz

"Mm, well, you're right, I suppose. To simply kill is a completely different thing to killing with style." Style was the third thing she aimed at when she was killing, the first being the actual death and the second the amount of pain. Nubilia's eyebrows shot up at how the woman sat, oh-so-perfectly, crossing her hands on her lap like the splitting image of the polite-perfect lady. Bah. She crossed her arms over her chest, shrugging, and propping her legs up on the table in between them, crossed at the ankles. She looked around at her follower, idly twisting a strand of hair between her fingers. "Cecily, a drink for the lady and myself? The usual for me," she paused, looking at the woman questioningly. "And she can have whatever she wants. I find a little drink helps me think clearer."

Nubilia nodded, waving the woman's explanation off nonchalantly. "Yes, yes, we all know that same story. You don't think I like to do a little bit of extra research on the people I have an interest in, ah... making business with?" She gave a grin which showed all her sharp, white teeth. "Well, if you did, then you're half wrong. My..."Friend," she amended, nodding, "forced me to. Not her, though," she jerked her thumb at Cecily standing at the back of the bar, "another friend. Besides, why would I want to know what you look like in the first place? All I care is that you can kill sufficiently well and hush-hush about it after."

Gewissen rather liked this woman, she had her priorities and distinctions sorted as far as Gewissen was concerned. Style was highly important as far as she was concerned. It wasn't the most important when it came to the one art she excelled in; killing. Gewissen waited patiently for the other woman to get herself seated in the proper way she wanted to. It was far too casual for Gewissen, especially when it came to business discussion.

"I'll take a glass of Jamaican Seasnap if you have any." Gewissen requested. She wasn't able to turn down the oppertunity for a drink. Then the conversation very quickly turned to one that Gewissen was much more familiar and comfortable with. Business.

"Your friend, they didn't happen to hire me recently to take out a target? He was recently dispatched near Bristol." Gewissen asked, her mind beginning to make possible connections between the sheet of parchment she had found on the body, and the woman here before her having been anticipating her arrival.

"Yes, I can. Do you have anybody in particular in mind?" Gewissen asked, her mind focusing now on the issue of potential business in hand.

"No," Nubilia shook her head, sighing. "Not that friend." Or at least, she thought it wasn't Fyedka. She couldn't be too sure now, the boy at Hogwarts and practically out of her grip. "Perhaps another, though; I've made lots of friends since arriving on their goddamn island, I can't keep track of all of them." Now she thought about it, it was probably another one of her more cowardly avengers. Wouldn't it be typical for them to hire an assasin to do the dirty work and pass it off as their own. She'd have a word about that to them, next time she held their meetings.

She nodded as Cecily disappeared and then reappeared with their drinks, setting them down on the table between herself and the other woman. She picked her glass up, staring into it's depths thoughtfully. "Probably not in the way you're assuming. This is no hush-hush job, though," she looked up, trying to X-ray the other woman. She wondered what was going through her mind. "It's more like 'bang-bang-boom', if that makes sense to you. Can you keep a secret?" she carried on without waiting for an answer, assuming she could. She was an assassin, trained in secrecy, and a metamorphagus to boot. Besides, if she did blab, then Nubilia did have an entire army at her command. As good a hider the woman undoubtedly was, Nubilia would get her eventually. "I'd like you to come meet me and my other friends here in about a week's time for a little get-together. Could you make it?"

Gewissen couldn't help but pick up on the emphasis that had been placed on one of the friends that the other woman had mentioned. That was definatly worth investigation, and if there was time and it appeared to be more relevant later on then Gewissen would do just that. She nodded her head slightly in agreement with the other womans descriptor of Britain. She held no particular fondness for the island state.

Gewissen was pleased to see that the serving woman had been able to bring to her, her favourite drink. It was a difficult one to get holsd of generally speaking, and she had been expecting to be told that her request would not be able to be met.

"I am impressed. This is a difficult drink to aquire." Gewissen remarked as she took the glass from the table, briefly exmaining the liquid held within it before taking a sip. Yes, the taste was wonderful and familiar.

The shop talk was intriguing to say the least. This other woman, if she became a client, was unusual to say the least. She was well known for quietly, skillfully and artistically despatching people, not for large displays. It didn't take Gewissen's sharp mind to figure out what the woman was probably looking for. She smiled and took another sip of her drink.

"For a price, that can be arranged. Do you want any specifics, or do you just want to make a general statement? Either can be accomidated." Gewissen replied in an attempt to gain as much information as she could. She wanted her clients to be pleased with the endevour they had selected for, and some of her client's were difficult to work with and had particular tastes and preference. She wanted to accomidate each and every one of them to the ebst of her exceptional ability.

"A get together? I assume that I will be provided with more details of what you are wishing to accomplish, and memorise the faces of those you wish to remain alive." Gewissen retorted, scheduling the mentioned meeting in her mental diary.
