Scorpius was in heaven. He was finally better, and he knew exactly where he wanted to be. Where the chocolate was. And other sweets, but mainly the chocolate. Oh, how much he loved chocolate. All types of chocolate. From white chocolate to dark chocolate to truffles to fruit and nut to fountains to- oh man he needed a chocolate fountain. Definitely needed that. It was life or death. Because he didn't know how he'd lived so far without one. He didn't know how he'd managed to live through being ill and being cut off from his one weakness. Well, one weakness not including Albus, but he hardly counted. Not that he was going to say that outloud.

What was he there for again? Oh right, he was going to get Albus a thank you gift. Though in a small part of his mind he wondered whether or not sweets were an appropriate gift to give Albus, seeing as he didn't actually seem all that fussed on chocolate. Though he did like it when it was covering fruit. So that was something to go on. He kind of got sidetracked by the lure of the smell of sugar.

"Merlin I love chocolate," he mumbled, picking up a bar, turning it in his hands. "I wish I could just live on chocolate. I should try it," he turned round with the bar in his hands, deciding he was getting it for himself. Pure solid chocolate? Yes please. He startled as he almost walked straight into someone very familiar who was behind him, looking up and giving a slightly sheepish smile. "Hey! Didn't notice you were there," he cleared his throat, pretending that he hadn't just been talking to himself. He hoped she hadn't heard that. "Sorry, I - err - I was distracted by the chocolate. And...yeah, so, how're you?"

Naomi sighed happily as she stepped into Honeydukes. She was in total paradise. There were chocolates and sweets everywhere. Her eyes hungrily roamed the shelves as she walked by them, her fingers sliding along the numerous amounts of sweets. She had a major sweet tooth and she sure as hell wasn't going to hide it. Grinning slightly, Naomi walked up to a shelf where she grabbed a few packets of Chocolate Frogs.

She stood there, looking at the other sweets, to try and decide which one to get when she heard someone speaking to himself and then that same someone bump into her. Yelping quietly, Naomi stumbled forward slightly and managed to catch herself on the wall.

Turning around, Naomi came face-to-face with the one and only Scorpius Malfoy, her ex-boyfriend and now, great friend. She raised her brow when she saw the chocolates in his hands and looked up at him. How she hated being shorter then others.

"Scor. Talking to yourself now are you?" She nodded her head curtly, chuckling quietly to herself. "I am fine thank you and how about you?"

Scorpius grimaced as she confirmed that she had, in fact, heard him talking to himself. At least it was Naomi and not Rain or someone. They were in the same house and year though. He never knew if it would get back to Rain. He trusted Naomi though. Even if in this situation he didn't really have much choice but to trust her.

"I wasn't talking to myself," he defended, though he didn't quite know how to finish that thought. He waved the chocolate bar he was holding slightly, putting on the most serious face he could. "I was talking to my new best friend here. Before I eat her upon leaving the shop."

He gave a lopsided smile as she asked him how he was though, glad that she was okay. He wasn't on good terms with all his exes, but he was with Naomi. And he was glad for it too. She was a friend he wasn't willing to give up in a hurry. "I'm pretty good, thank you. I've been ill for the past couple weeks, so that would explain the slightly strange talking to myself bit," he smirked, looking over her to see what was on the stand behind her. "Here for anything in particular, or just wanting to please that sweet tooth of yours?"

Naomi huffed quietly at him before she eyed the chocolate, her eyes moving past him to gaze at the shelf where he got it from. Nodding her head, she reached over him and grabbed the chocolate, holding it close to her.

"Your new best friend?" She pouted at him, her ice-blue eyes widening slightly which gave the impression of a kicked puppy. "And what am I to you then?" She made her voice sound hurt, when she, in fact, was just teasing him. She knew that Scorpius didn't have any great relationship with his exes but, Naomi being Naomi, wasn't hurt when they broke up. She knew they would eventually and so she decided to stay friends with him, no matter what. And she wasn't about to give up their friendship quickly.

She smiled softly when he said he was great before she glared at him. "And you didn't even owl me to tell me you were ill?" She stomped her foot lightly, slightly hurt by the fact she didn't know he was ill then her cheeks flushed pink slightly. "I am here to please my sweet tooth and you know it." She finally muttered.

Scorpius couldn't really say anything about her getting the chocolate from behind him. He did have a bar too. And it did look really good. So it couldn't be faulted really. He was pleased that she had such great taste in chocolate.

"Aww, I'm sorry," he teased lightly, admitting that she was pretty good at the kicked puppy impression. It was the blue-ness of her eyes. Blue eyes were always good for it. He seriously doubted that she was genuinely hurt. Really, it was a chocolate bar. "Though you know, if I'm in the habit of eating my best friends you might not want to be too upset about that. And stop being so damn good at being upset. One day you're going to be genuinely upset and I'll not realise and say something stupid."

He shrugged awkwardly and rubbed the back of his neck as she glared at him. Now that was definitely him in trouble, not her faking it. She thought. "I didn't really think it was that important, and I didn't want to worry anyone. I think Al was the only one who knew, and he came round. I actually came here to find something for him, like to say thank you or something," he tried not to look too embarrassed about it. He hoped buying a present for Albus when it wasn't his birthday wasn't suspicious. "And something for me, obviously. You don't know whether they sell chocolate covered fruit or something, do you?"

Naomi smiled softly at him before she grabbed some more chocolate frogs and held them close. Her sweet tooth would seriously need to be pleased today as she didn't have any sweets for the past few days, which was actually bad for her.

"Nah, don't worry it's fine Scor." She patted his cheek lightly, her eyes twinkling in amusement. She knew that he knew she was just teasing him and wasn't genuinely hurt. "I don't think I will be." She shrugged. "And it's not my fault I'm good at it. After all, I had to act out the hurt expression when we made the choice to break up." She chuckled quietly. "When I'm genuinely upset or hurt Scor, my eyes will be watery." She told him, just to warn him in case he did actually do something to hurt her, which she doubted.

She kept glaring at him but her eyes wavered lightly as tears welled up in them but she quickly willed them away, not wanting to show them to Scor. "Oh... I see..." She muttered quietly, knowing perfectly well Scor knew she was upset. She looked around the shop and walked towards some shelves where the chocolate covered fruits were. She was still upset with him but she decided to help him anyway, not wanting her sadness and hurt get in the way. She knew he didn't want anyone to know but she was his ex-girlfriend and best friend so it still hurt her.

Scorpius gave her an unimpressed look as she patted his cheek, unamused at the contact. Though he didn't mind it too much he guessed. He should really stop letting the people close to him get away with such actions. It was terrible. He was going soft. "Right, watery eyes, I'll remember that. And I remember the hurt expression when we broke up. I'm permanently scarred for life because of it," he joked. "I'll never be able to date another person again for fear of that look."

Apparently he didn't have to wait long to see the difference between 'fake hurt' and 'real hurt', though he almost missed her eyes welling up. The sudden change of atmosphere wasn't as easily ignored as she became quiet and went straight to find the chocolate he'd asked her about. He followed her, entirely unsure of what to do.

"Nao," he said slowly, patting her shoulder awkwardly. Man he was bad at these things. "I'm sorry if I upset you. Really, you know how terrible I am with all this 'what you should and should not inform close friends' about. I'll remember next time. How about I get you something to make it up to you?" throwing presents at people to say sorry and thank you seemed to be Scorpius' specialty. "Anything you like. And next time I will most certainly remember to owl you and tell you if I'm ill or not."

Naomi sighed softly at him before she placed one hand on her waist and stared at him. "Scor, you really, really need to get over your hate of contact from other people! It's annoying you know." She smirked at him and unfortunately, to some people that scared them as it was totally rare to see a Gryffindor smirk. "Haha! As if I'll believe that since you are probably still dating people." She rolled her eyes, not knowing how true that really was.

Her hands quickly slid along the different fruits before she found some strawberries and passed them to Scorpius. "Here, some chocolate covered strawberries." She murmured quietly. She quickly turned back around and grabbed some for herself. "It's fine Scor... Don't worry about it." She shrugged. "I just hate it that people seem to think I don't care about my friends or their health..."

She looked over her shoulder at him and a sincere smile made its' way onto her lips. "Just don't forget next time Scor or I just might raid your house and I won't be a happy a woman when I do. I'm pretty sure you know what I can do when I'm not a happy woman." She grinned at him, her ice-blue eyes showing nothing but truth.

Scorpius huffed slightly, scowling down at Naomi's smirk. He would not be moved by anyone's smirking on this matter. "I don't hate contact from other people. I just prefer it didn't happen," as soon as she mentioned still dating people he felt a strange pang of guilt. She didn't like him keeping that he was ill for a couple weeks, she wasn't going to like him keeping that he was dating one person quite seriously. "When have you heard of me dating people much this year? I've been far too busy studying for my OWLs. And you'd probably kill me if I hadn't told you," he said, hoping to gauge how much trouble he'd be in if she found out.

And now he found himself wondering how easily they could keep hiding this relationship thing, considering it didn't seem to be ending any time soon.

He couldn't help but smile as she passed him chocolate strawberries, even if she still looked upset. "I think you care. I know you care. There are few people who care more than you. Like I said, next time, I promise," he gave a slightly nervous laugh when she grinned at him. "Oh, I know what you can do when you're not a happy woman, don't worry."

"So," he looked back to the chocolate covered fruit, picking up some of the others too. Pineapple. Those were definitely needed. "Have you got your OWL results back? I want to know what you're doing next year."

Naomi shrugged and said. "Whatever Scor but you do hate the contact... A Malfoy through and through." She grinned, twirling a lock of her hair around her finger. She kept the grin on her face. "Oh really Scor. If I didn't know you any better I would say that's true but we both know it's not!" She then eyed him up and down, her smirking face hiding behind her mask of indifference.

"If you kept you dating a secret from me, you would be on the end of my wand as I would hex you a hundred ways to Sunday and back. And if you had kept it from me for ages I would probably not talk to you for a while." She shrugged. "You... aren't dating someone in secret are you?" She glared daggers at him, challenging him to actually say he was.

"Oh fine.. I care okay!" She looked at the ground. "It's pretty hard not to Scor..." She sighed, running her fingers through her hair. "Just... seriously... don't do it again." She told him.

"Yeah... I got my results." She nodded. "I'm taking Arithmacy, Ancient Runes, Potions, Charms, Transfiguration's and Defence against the dark arts... And how about you?" She asked, looking at him.

Scorpius rolled his eyes slightly as she twirled her hair round her finger. "Yes, yes, I am a Malfoy. Nice observation there. You're such a girl, really, with all your love of contact and affection," he raised a brow as she eyed him up and down, waiting for her to figure out whatever it was she was looking for. He couldn't let her know now. It wasn't exactly the perfect time.

"Right, don't keep something like that a secret from you then," he was so screwed when she found out. It had been a fair amount of time since he started dating Albus. He shook his head automatically as she glared at him, though he wasn't sure that lying would exactly help his situation. "It's just, hypothetically, what if it was their decision to keep it a secret? Surely you could forgive me for keeping it a secret then?" she wasn't unreasonable. She'd understand. Right?

He couldn't stop himself chuckling slightly as she said she cared. It was kind of sweet. "I'm not saying it's a bad thing. It's a good thing. I could probably do with learning to care a bit more," probably. "Be proud of it, really."

"Happy with your results?" he asked, listing her subjects in his head, pleased that she was taking his favourite. "Transfiguration, of course, and Charms. Potions," how he hated the fact he was doing Potions. "Muggle Studies, Astronomy, and History of Magic. Looking forward to it. Apart from Potions."

Naomi huffed. "I am a girl, Malfoy." She scowled quietly at him. Then she narrowed her eyes and scrunched her eyebrows. She knew something was up and she was definitely not happy but she shrugged it off for a while. When he shook his head automatically after her glare, said glare hardened. She wasn't liking this at all.

"If, hypothetically, it was their decision to keep it a secret I would still hex you but probably only ten ways to Sunday and back and then I would not talk to you for quiet a few days if not weeks." She hissed out. "I sure hope you are not keeping dating a secret Scorpius..."

"You do need to learn to care more Scor... It would do you good." She nodded, grinning lightly at him.

"I am happy with my results, thank you. And how about you?" She asked before grinning more. At least she'd have Potions and Transfiguration with Scor next year and probably their study periods as well.

Scorpius chuckled slightly as she huffed and confirmed that she was a girl, before he went back to peering at the shelves. He really didn't need to see her try to figure out what was going on. He could practically feel her glare, though that was probably because he knew it was there. He kept a straight face as she answered him, trying to decide how bad of a punishment that was. No Naomi for quite a few days if not weeks? A few days, maybe.

He should probably stop thinking in case she was telepathic and heard that. It probably wasn't something she should hear.

"I'm not, really. You know how hard girls can be, you are one," he said with a smirk. "It'd be rather difficult to keep one of you a secret," which is probably how they'd managed to keep it a secret for so long: there was no girl in the equation. "And glad to know you'd give me a little mercy if if was their decision. Really. I'm touched," just casually ignore the sarcasm there.

He rolled his eyes at her grin and comment about caring, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Yeah, I'm pretty happy with my results. Though I should've done much better in Potions. I'm not sure how my father managed to convince Professor Zabini to let me take it next year. The rest I'm looking forward to. And at least I'll have your help in Potions, right?" he said with a grin. "A friend in need is a friend indeed and all that stuff."

Naomi kept glaring at him, her ice-blue eyes turning cold as he kept quiet for a few minutes. She knew something was going on and she didn’t like it that he kept something a secret from her. She knew that she would probably be pissed at Scorpius for keeping something big a secret but she wouldn’t stay mad at him for long, maybe a few days. Her friendship with Scor wasn’t worth getting mad over something as him keeping secrets. Sighing, she looked at the floor before looking up at him.

“It’s your choice if you want to keep your relationships a secret Scor… I can’t stop you from doing that; my friendship with you isn’t worth of getting mad over something like that.” She shrugged her voice soft and quiet. Anyone could tell she was upset even if they didn’t look into her eyes filled with tears. She totally ignored the sarcasm from his voice.

“Your father is quiet convincing Scorpius.” She told him. “And my father told me that Professor Zabini and your father were friends at Hogwarts, so I think that’s why. No-one could refuse their friend.” She grinned at him. “Of course I’ll help you in Potions but in return you must help in Transfigurations when we have assignments.” She told him.

It was obvious that she was still upset. And Scorpius did feel guilty. She was a friend, a very close friend, and he didn't like seeing friends upset. But there were certain things that he was willing to ignore for his own sake. And it was for his own sake that he was deciding that he was going to keep it a secret. This was not something he was willing to share. He patted her shoulder, not saying anything as he dropped the subject. There was nothing to say.

He nodded at the fact his father was friends with his Potions Professor. "They were, yes. Growing up Professor Zabini was at my house quite a lot, along with Professor Parkinson. They were both friends of the family. And that would make sense. I wasn't too far behind in Potions, not with help from Al. He's very good at it," he smirked. "And with your help too, I'll ace it no problem, I'm sure."

"Of course I'll help you in Transfiguration. That's something I can do very well. I'm looking forward to Transfiguration next year, it should be fun," Scorpius glanced round the store, figuring he should probably stop buying things. "I think I'm pretty much done. Well, I think I should stop adding things to my selection. Is there anything else you want?"

Naomi smiled softly at Scorpius in reassurance. She definitely didn't want to lose him for a secret that he didn't want to tell her, he wasn't worth losing as a friend just because of a secret that he didn't want to tell anyone. She supposed that it was something big but she didn't want to pry into her business, with a final smile the subject was dropped, she really didn't want to lose him as a friend.

She giggled quietly at that. "It must be hard, having your fathers friend as a Potions Professor and as your House Head. And Professor Parkinson too?!" Her eyes widened before she burst out laughing, "Wow... It really must be hard for you because of the Professors....I don't know how the hell I would survive with my fathers friends as my Professors." She smiled smugly at him, her eyes filled with mirth. "Of course you'll ace it with mine and Al's help you idiot! As if I'll let you get anything other then Exceeds Exception or an Outstanding when on my duty, thank you very much." She huffed.

"Thanks' Scor. At least this year I want to have an O in Transfiguration unlike last year where I got E's all the way through." She sighed. "I'm pretty much done too."

The soft smile had Scorpius feeling better about the situation. Perhaps it wasn't going to be as bad as he thought it would be, and it wasn't like he was never going to tell her. He'd just have to wait till he was ready. And Albus was ready, of course. Which suddenly had him questioning when exactly that would be. He'd never really thought about telling anyone, the only person he wanted to tell was his cousin, his mother had only found out because of the thing at the Ministry, and Rain had guessed.

"It is kind of hard, it was really weird at first. It's not so bad anymore, I've kind of gotten used to it. I always knew they'd teach me, so it wasn't too much of a shock. The only bad thing is that if I don't pay attention in class my father's more likely to find out. And having to spend time with Professor Parkinson's daughter too, but that's not really relevant."

He chuckled at the smugness in her eyes and her confidence about him acing Potions. "Of course. I might regret asking you for help with it. I probably will, won't I? You're like a slave driver."

"You and your grades," he said with a smirk. "We'll get you that O, don't worry. Come on, let's pay for this stuff and head out," he moved towards the counter. "Is there anything else you wanted to do while you were in Hogsmeade?"

Naomi listened intently to the boy, her lips quirking into a smile. She wouldn't like to have her fathers' friends as Professors teaching her. That would be a total disaster. "I think I would hate it if my Professor's were my parents' friends. In truth I'm admiring you on surviving for the past six years." She grinned.

"I am not a slave driver sir." She huffed. "I just liked teaching people sternly so they get what is going on." She told him.

"I like my grades to be the best, I want to ace all my exams and then I want to start my Mastery in Potions or DADA." She told him and followed him to the counter. "Not really how about you?"
