Daylight Robbery

The days were getting pretty long and dull since they had moved to England, and Sasha was bored of having nothing to do with them. No missions, no sporadic event planning, no nothing. In short, Sasha was sick of pining away inside the big old manor house with nothing to do and no-one to do it with.

"VERA!" he hollered, waiting for his sister expectantly. "VERA, CAN WE DO SOMETHING? ANYTHING! I'M DYING IN HERE." He wondered if this would be suitably melodramatic enough as he threw himself backwards onto his bed, letting his head lull off of the side as he waited for his sister to come to his aid.

They needed to do something. Anything to get away from this forsaken pit. He needed to do something that he could get a kick out of doing before his soul dissolved.

Vera sat in her room, trying to teach herself some patience by building a card house. She wasn't very good at it so far. She just reached the second level of the house, when a loud shout made her knock it all over again. She growled and then she lit fire to the cards. Watching it lick at the things made her feel a lot better. She vanished the mess when her brother called out again.

She got up and stormed to his room, not even knocking when she entered. Her eyes found him sprawled over his bed. She crossed her arms over her chest as she gave him a slightly annoyed look.

"Because of you I have to buy another deck of cards," she told him. "What is it that you had in mind of doing?" she asked after a moment of silence, unable to help herself. Now she didn't have the cards anymore, she didn't really have something to do inside the house.

"Oh dear, what a shame, never mind," Sasha drawled, before sitting up. "I'm so booooored, Vee. Can we go do something? Go destroy something. Nick some gold. Anything. Just save me from this hellhole!" He grabbed hold of her hand and tugged on it.

He looked out of the window and sighed. "We have to go outside. Now. I can't stand it on this stupid estate in this stupid country any longer."

Vera tumbled slightly when her brother tugged on her hand, and let herself fall onto his bed, the soft mattress breaking her fall successfully. She couldn't help but agree completely with what he was saying. Russia had been so much more interesting than this place, so far. She nearly missed her time in school, which had been a time filled with fun. Especially when they got older, terrorizing the children younger than them never really got old.

"Outside sounds like a good idea," she agreed with him, pushing herself off the bed and then using their still linked hands to pull her brother up as well.

"Let's go then, I don't want to be inside any longer."

Sasha jumped to his feet as soon as his sister pulled him, and grinned. "Oh, Vera, I'm glad you asked." He grinned and fluttered a hand, batting his eyelids.

He pondered for a moment, and then smiled. "Would you perhaps like to go to Harrods? I've never been. I've heard it's quite the charming place. Lots of expensive shit to blow up." Sasha smiled at his sister, eyes glittering a little. "Personally, I find the more expensive, the better the explosion."

"Harrods?" Vera asked, tilting her head to the side. She'd heard of it, but didn't ever thought about it. She thought it was this big muggle warehouse in London. That is what she knew. She never thought about it because it was muggle, and Vera despised everything muggle. It was boring, dirty and far-fetched and the woman did not want anything to do with it.

"I suppose we could go there, teach those muggles a lesson," she told her brother, a smirk forming on her face as she thought about all the possibilities. The muggles wouldn't know they were there, they could cause the most wonderful chaos. It would definitely brighten up her day.
