Piles of Sickness Empty
PostSubject: Piles of Sickness   Piles of Sickness EmptySat Jul 07, 2012 10:15 pm

So Al wasn't that good at listening. He couldn't help it really, when your best friend, and boyfriend, tells you he's sick and then adds that you're not allowed to visit, you just need to ignore that and go visit anyway. This was why he had not told his mum about Scorpius being sick and stuffed his invisibility cloak under his robes as he floo'd to Malfoy Manor. He floo'd into the library, as usual, but this was the first time Scorpius wasn't there to come and get him. Albus quickly slung his invisibility cloak over himself so he was hidden. If he had been a bit smarter, he would have realized that the wards around Malfoy Manor would inform the head of family of any visitors. Al just didn't think about that.

When his cloak was wrapped firmly around his body he started to move. He surely would be able to find Scor's room on his own, he'd been there so many times he lost count. Though the manor was huge. Al tried to remember the way they usually walked. Up the stairs, to the left, another flight of stairs, to the right and then one of the four doors. The one in the back, Al reminded himself. It was the door in the back, he was quite certain of that.

Proud that he didn't get lost, he strode forward and opened the door just a bit so he could peer inside. When he was sure it really was Scor's room he opened it further and slipped inside before closing it behind him again. He'd meant to do it quietly, but he accidentally slammed it shut with a lot of noise.

"Shit!"

Piles of Sickness Empty
PostSubject: Re: Piles of Sickness   Piles of Sickness EmptySat Jul 07, 2012 10:46 pm

Scorpius was ill. He was very, very ill. He'd told Albus not to come visit him, not wanting his boyfriend to catch what he had. He doubted that would be fun. And he didn't want Albus to be ill. He most certainly wasn't enjoying it, and didn't want to have to put the other boy through it too. He was actually quite proud of himself for not being selfish on this matter. Usually when he was ill he turned into a right brat. Because he was never a brat any other time.

Why was he ill during the holidays. This was so unfair.

Though he'd taken to sleeping most of the day away now, not that he didn't do that normally. He just had an excuse now. He was startled from his sleep by a loud noise however, sitting up instantly, and instantly regretting the decision. He whimpered slightly, gripping his head and hissing, eyes squeezed shut for a moment. Sharp movements and sickness did not go well together. Ugh, he felt like he might be sick again.

PostSubject: Re: Piles of Sickness   Piles of Sickness EmptySat Jul 07, 2012 11:07 pm

Al turned around immediately after slamming the door shut. Scorpius did look quite pityfull. Not that Al would ever admit that out loud because that would probably get him in trouble. His hair mussed, eyes tightly closed and he looked far less perfect and groomed than usual. Not that Al minded, he quite liked Scor's I-just-got-out-of-bed-and-had-no-chance-to-spend-ages-in-the-bathroom-yet-hair. Al tried to decide what would be the best way to reveal his presence.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you," he muttered finally, even though he was still invisible. He made his way to the end of Scor's bed and took off his cloak, draping it over the feet board. "Hullo," he said a bit sheepishly, touching his hand to the back of his neck. He had not really thougt this out, what was he supposed to do now?

"I didn't want you to be alone all the time while you were sick," he then said, hands fiddling with the fabric of his invisibility cloak, his fingers disappearing and appearing every time the fabric slid over them.

Piles of Sickness Empty
PostSubject: Re: Piles of Sickness   Piles of Sickness EmptySun Jul 08, 2012 12:43 am

Scorpius frowned as he heard Albus' voice, looking around the room for the boy. Was he going delusional now? He wouldn't be surprised. It felt like he hadn't seen Albus in weeks. It might has well have been weeks, he'd been locked up in his room and ordered to recover as quickly as possible. Like he had control over how quickly he recovered.

But then Albus was standing there, and Scorpius felt relieved at the confirmation that he wasn't going delusional and Albus was just a complete and utter fool. That made him feel much better about the situation. He forced himself to frown more, though the fact he was half asleep probably didn't make him look as intimidating as he was hoping it would, and refused to admit that he was secretly pleased Albus was there. Because he wasn't. Nope.

"I'm not alone," he insisted. "I have my parents. And I'm asleep half the time anyway, so it doesn't make much difference to me. I told you not to come," he narrowed his eyes. "You're going to get ill, and don't expect me to come running to your side to nurse you. Ill people are gross," he sniffled to prove his point. "Bleh. Being ill is gross. I can feel the germs on my skin," he flopped back on the bed, grimacing again. Right. Sharp movements. "Ow."

PostSubject: Re: Piles of Sickness   Piles of Sickness EmptySun Jul 08, 2012 1:04 am

"It's still different," Al argued, trying very hard not to pout. Or to feel a bit stupid, because honestly, he'd forgotten about Scor's parents even being there. But he couldn't see them spending a lot of time with their sick son, so he decided to pretend he had totally considered that already. "Yeah but your parents are both busy. They both own a shop!" he added. "And uhm," I just missed you, "I wanted to make sure that you were holding up," he said added, walking around the feet board to sit down on the end of Scor's bed.

"And I won't get sick, I took this potion mum gives me or Lily or James when one of us gets sick, so we don't all get sick," he told the blond, hoping that made him feel a bit better. "But nice to know that you wouldn't take care of me when I'm sick," he added jokingly, before kicking off his shoes and dragging his legs onto the bed, wrapping his arms around his knees.

"You don't mind I'm here, do you?" he asked, biting his lip. "I just thought you'd might like some company you know. Or a distraction. And I hadn't seen you in a while so," he added, looking up with large innocent eyes. He felt slightly bad about using that look right now, but he was quite certain it would be effective. And then they could skip the stupid argument about him not supposed to be there and everyone would be happy. Or well at least Al would be happy.

PostSubject: Re: Piles of Sickness   Piles of Sickness EmptySun Jul 08, 2012 2:07 am

Scorpius couldn't help but smile slightly as Albus' reasoning for coming to see him. His parents did both own shops, this was true. Thankfull there were other people to help ease the load of the work, but they were still busy people. He didn't say anything when Albus sat on his bed though. "I suppose the thought is appreciated. If nothing else."

He raised a brow at the description of Al taking a potion. "And did your mother give you this potion? I'm sure she was thrilled to allow you to leave the house to come and visit your sick friend. And you're very welcome," he smirked. "Or were you expecting me to come and look after you? I could stand on the other side of the door and talk to you through it to keep you company."

He groaned when Albus pulled that face, with the big green eyes, making him feel like he'd just AK'ed a puppy or something, rolling onto his side to avoid it. "I hate you," he muttered, pulling the blanket over his head. "I'm the victim here, don't you try to guilt me into letting you stay," he had to admit. He didn't mind. "I suppose I can't stop you from being here, can I? Seeing as I'm weak and ill and not bothered enough. You're so mean to me. I thought you were here to keep me company, not make me feel bad."

PostSubject: Re: Piles of Sickness   Piles of Sickness EmptySun Jul 08, 2012 4:22 am

"Well you know. Mum doesn't know I took it," he confessed, running a hand through his hair. "I kind of nicked it from the cupboard below the sink, and I, well, she doesn't know your sick," he added, grinning again. "It tastes just as foul as I remembered so I think I got the right one." It really did taste awful. It tasted like how a Quidditch Team their gear smelled after a six hour lasting match. And seriously, that wasn't a nice smell. If it had been a potion, than the potion he drank would have been it.

Al refused to chuckle when Scorpius looked away and hid under his blanket, but he couldn't stop the grin that spread on his face. He then started crawling towards the blond, pulling on the blanket gently to try and get it away from Scor's face.

"I'm not here to make you feel bad," he argued, but he stopped tugging on the blanket that wouldn't budge and leaned his back against the headboard, pulling something from the inside of his robes. "I guess I'll have to eat this chocolate on my own then," he sighed, opening the wrapper. "Seeing as you can hardly eat it when you're all hidden under the blanket like that."

PostSubject: Re: Piles of Sickness   Piles of Sickness EmptySun Jul 08, 2012 4:45 am

Scorpius knew Mrs Potter didn't know he was ill or that Albus took that potion. At least the boy was just not listening to him rather than lying. "Good. I'm glad it tasted horrible. That's what you get for not listening to me and coming to see me. And for tricking your mother, you should respect your elders," he said, though it wasn't as serious as before.

He refused to let go of the blanket when Albus tugged at it, staying safe and tightly wrapped up in his little bubble. But then Albus stopped. And there was clearly something wrong, because usually Albus would put up more of a fight than that. At the mention of chocolate Scorpius turned quickly, looking up with hopeful eyes, ignoring the pain he got when he made too much movement too fast.

"Want," he demanded, holding out his hand. "Give please." Scorpius briefly wondered if he could hide under the blanket again once he had the chocolate, or if that was too mean. Then again, was there really such a thing as 'too mean'?

Albus nearly burst out laughing at the speed with which Scorpius moved at the mention of chocolate. The blankets fell away and back was, the now very hopeful looking, face of his boyfriend. Al bit his lip and stuffed a piece of chocolate in his mouth and then stared at the chocolate and then back at Scor, pretending to be thinking.

"I don't know, I'd give it to you really, but how do I know if you won't just go back to hiding? It would be a pity if I came all the way here to bring you chocolate, and I don't even get to watch you enjoy it!" he said. Because watching Scorpius eat chocolate was a very entertaining way to spend time, it really was. Al never really liked chocolate, and he decided that he'd much rather give it to Scor and watch him eat it, than eating it himself. Al turned the chocolate bar in his hand.

"Then again, you are sick, and you do deserve some chocolate," and then he grinned. He broke off a smaller bar and held that out near Scor's face. "Say 'aaah'," he ordered, waiting for the blond to eat the chocolate he held out.

Scorpius glared as Albus started debating whether or not he would go back into hiding. He felt his cheeks beginning to heat up, unsure how he should feel about the fact that Albus would enjoy watching him eat chocolate. "I won't go back into hiding. I promise. Seriously. Just give me the chocolate. And can I just say it's weird that you want to watch me eat chocolate?"

He hesitated as Albus held out a smaller bar, trying to decide whether or not he should be indignant about the fact that Albus wanted to feed him. He was perfectly capable of eating without help. But he then realised that this was one of those couple things, and obediently opened his mouth, not bothering to say 'aaah' and just leaning up and taking the chocolate from Al's hand.

He let out a slight groan of pleasure as he felt the chocolate beginning to melt on his tongue. "Oh, that's beautiful. I haven't been able to have much chocolate. I've been on a healthy diet thing since I got ill. It's been horrible. You're so amazing, you know that?"

Al felt his own cheeks heat up slightly when Scorpius pointed out it was weird he liked the blond eat chocolate. He realized it would have been smarter if he hadn't said that out loud. "It's not weird, it's completely normal," Al argued quickly, but he decided not to say why he liked watching his boyfriend eat chocolate. That was probably the best idea.

Al grinned as Scor took the chocolate from his hand and pulled back his hand. He chuckled at the expression on Scor's face, which was one of pure pleasure. Al held out the rest of the chocolate for Scor to take and leaned close to press a kiss against his temple. "You might think ill people are gross, but I doubt you could ever be gross," he admitted.

"Glad you like it," he said, leaning back against the headboard. Scor had a really big bed, he decided. It was even bigger than the fourposters at school, and Al already found those big. It was quite comfortable though.

"It's totally weird," Scorpius insisted, smirking slightly at the speed Albus answered with. "It's so totally weird. What's so fascinating about me eating chocolate anyway?" he questioned. It was the same as any other food. Except maybe he ate it a little faster depending on the chocolate.

When he was offered the rest of the bar he didn't question it, beginning to break the pieces off and ate them quickly, barely pausing to give Albus a disbelieving look when he said Scorpius could ever be gross. Though it was a nice thought, he guessed. He didn't like being gross. Especially not to Albus. He did frown slightly to cover the slight bubble of happiness he got at the kiss on his temple though.

"How have your holidays been then?" he asked, munching his way through the chocolate, having to pause far too often to breathe, becoming slightly out of breath. Perhaps he should slow down. "Ugh. Ugh," he didn't slow down. "Ugh, illness. Making me breathe more."

Al huffed and ignored the fact his cheeks heat up slightly. Which was because it was hot in Scor's room, and not because he was embarrassed about something, thank you very much. "I just like the sounds you make okay, and maybe the look on your face," he muttered quickly, slurring the words together in hopes Scorpius wouldn't actually hear.

Al chuckled at the frown that formed on Scorpius face, he turned his head against the headboard and watch Scorpius nearly shovel the chocolate inside. He must've been deprived of the stuff for a long time, because Al hadn't ever seen Scor eat so undignified. Not that he minded, it was probably how he ate all the time.

"It's been good," he lied. It had been tense, and Al mostly avoided talking to anyone. When they ate dinner with the four of them, it was so awkward he could nearly taste it. "And you should really eat that chocolate slower you know, before you choke on it. Or barf it all up again," he said.

Scorpius chuckled as Albus huffed, feeling much better already. Albus always knew how to make him feel better. Even if it wasn't intentional. He smirked at the slurred explanation of the reason why Albus enjoyed watching him eat chocolate, barely able to catch the words. In fact, why not just say he couldn't? "Sorry, didn't quite catch that. Something about my face? It was kind of a blurred jumble of nonsense."

He snorted when Albus suggested he ate slower though. "Oh please, I won't choke on it. I have to pause to breath, decreases the risk. Would you like some?" he wasn't sure if he actually wanted to hear the answer to that. "You know, before I barf it all up again and get it on what's left?"

The subject of Al's holidays had ended, Scorpius assumed, from the very short description of 'good'. He had no idea if he believed Albus or not about that, but figured if he was lying then he was doing it for a reason, so left it. "We were going to go to France before I got ill and everything was ruined. I'm devestated. I don't know if we'll have a chance to go when I get better. It-it would've been nice to go, and have you come along with us."

Al could feel his cheeks heat up even more, wanting to hide his face again, but instead he opted for glaring angrily at the blond next to him. "You heard what I said," he argued, totally not prepared to say it again. Ever. He was quite unsure why he had even started about it in the first place, he should have known Scorpius would tease him mercilessly about it. He'd known the blond long enough to know that.

Al rolled his eyes. "No I brought it for you, you eat it. Just don't barf it up, save some for later?" he suggested, moving so he could lie down with his head in Scor's lap, staring up at the blond. "And even if you breath, you're not eating that chocolate, you're just shoving it down your throat, which will lead to choking, and I rather like you alive," the boy added.

Al was a bit surprised by Scor's next sentence. "You would've let me come?" he asked, moving his head so he could watch Scor's face properly. "To France?" he added. He was quite devastated now, he would've loved to go to France with Scor. Al tried his best to not let his devastation show on his face though, Scor felt bad enough as it was. It wasn't as if it was his own fault he got sick. "Maybe next year," he said instead.

Scorpius chuckled as Albus refused to repeat what he said, pulling the boy down for another kiss, admitting that, while he might not want to share his germs with Albus, he did want kisses. So he supposed he could accept this compromise. "I did, I'm sorry," he said, still laughing slightly. "You're just so adorable when you blush."

He couldn't help but be pleased when Albus said he didn't want any chocolate. "I'm not going to barf it up," Scorpius defended, though the idea didn't exactly sound as unlikely as he hoped it would. "And I'm not going to choke," he did slow down slightly though. Because he didn't want it to all disappear, obviously.

He was a bit confused at the surprise in Albus' voice, unsure if he'd said the right thing or not. "Would you not have liked to come to France? I wasn't sure, if you would've or not, or if we'd be allowed to bunk together, given that my mother..." he trailed off, grimacing slightly. Reminders that she knew. It was still incredibly strange. "But it'd be nice if you came next year. Assuming I don't get ill again. Ugh."

Al felt his cheeks heat up even more when Scorpius said he was adorable. He huffed slightly and tried to hide his face. "I'm not adorable," he argued. Boys weren't supposed to be adorable. And he was only agreeing to being called adorable when he did it on purpose so he would get his way. And he was not doing it on purpose now, so therefor he was not adorable.

"Good, because if you choke, I won't be able to do this anymore," he said softly, leaning up to press another kiss to Scor's mouth, liking a stray bit of chocolate from the corner of his mouth before pulling back. Chocolate kisses, one of his favourites. Though he rather liked all their kisses. All the time.

Al shook his head. "No no, I would've loved to come," he said quickly. "It would have been lovely, even if you know, we had to sleep in separate beds," he muttered, feeling a slight flush appear on his cheeks at the mentioning of Scor's mum knowing. They never actually talked about that. "I'd love to come next year, if you'll still have me then," he said immediately.

Scorpius chuckled, thoroughly enjoying himself as Albus began to protest to being adorable. Which didn't help his case, really. And Scorpius did just love teasing the other boy. "I think you are. Adorable like a bunny rabbit," he added, munching on his chocolate and feeling rather pleased with himself.

He didn't complain as Albus kissed him again, following him as he pulled back. He hummed slightly with a smile, trying to decide whether or not he wanted more chocolate or more kisses. It was a very tough decision.

Ugh. Illness was making him sound like a girl.

"Of course we'd still have you then. I'm glad you want to come," he picked up the last piece of chocolate and popped it into his mouth, before pushing the wrapper to the side and moving closer to Albus. "For now you'll have to make do with the Malfoy Manor instead of France, and me being ill. But hey, at least we're in the same bed right now, right?" Scorpius leant forward, kissing Albus again. Now that the chocolate was all gone the decision about what to do was easier. "I'm sure we can find things to occupy our time with."

Albus felt positively giddy, not that he was going to admit that, but he did. And he couldn't stop the grin that spread on his face, staring at Scor as the boy at the last piece of chocolate. He was invited to come to France with the Malfoy's. But mostly Scorpius. An uncertain amount of days without his family or any other students and just Scor (and of course his family, but they couldn't possibly want to be with them the entire day, could they?)

He raised an eyebrow when Scor started talking again. He grinned and wrapped his arms around Scor's neck, pulling him closer as he pressed his lips against the blond again, just for a few seconds, before pulling back and whispering against Scor's lips.

"I'm sure we can," he told the blond, before moving so he was straddling the other boy's lap and twirled a strand of blond hair around his finger. He was really ought to ask how Scor managed to keep it so soft, his own hair was still a birds nest, he'd never quite figure out how he was supposed to tame it. He pushed his hand further into Scor's hair and pulled his head close for another kiss, not intending to end this one any time soon.

PostSubject: Re: Piles of Sickness   Piles of Sickness EmptySat Aug 11, 2012 1:08 am

Ginny was convinced her son was at the Malfoy Manor. No matter what Draco Malfoy said about how he hadn't seen the boy come in, Ginny knew her sons, and she knew they had their ways of getting around things like being seen. Honestly, she felt kind of bad to go and collect her son from his friend's house. If it had been the previous summer she would've left him and told him he should've came home in time for dinner.

But it wasn't the previous summer.

"He's here, I know it," she insisted as she was led towards Scorpius' room. "He's always here, Scorpius being ill isn't going to stop him. I know my son. His best friend being ill is probably more of a reason to come here," without telling her. How could he not tell her? Why would he not tell her where she was going? What if he wasn't there?

As soon as Draco pointed her in the direction of Scorpius' room she knocked on the door briefly before storming in, feeling a lot more nervous than she was five minutes ago, letting out a breath of relief when she saw Albus. Until she took in the rest of the picture. And what it was that Albus was doing with his best friend. Though that term might need looking at. How on earth was she supposed to react to this? How did you react to...this.

At least Albus was safe.

"You're late for dinner," Ginny stated, folding her arms across her chest and looking displeased. Or at least trying not to look surprised or flustered.

PostSubject: Re: Piles of Sickness   Piles of Sickness EmptyMon Aug 13, 2012 2:47 am

Draco followed the Weaslette (really, it should be Potter, but as long as no one could hear him, his mind would refer to her as the Weaslette) through his Manor. He had told her that her son wasn't here, he'd seen Scorpius write a note to cancel their meeting. Why would the boy be here then? But for some foolish reason, the woman seemed to think that Albus was here, and Draco just wanted the satisfaction of seeing her face when she saw Scorpius alone in his bed, that was the only reason why he hadn't kicked her out yet.

So he pointed her in the direction of his son's room and followed the redhead. He did not try to make a conversation, he might have grown up over the past years, and he could stand the Gryffindor, but there was no need for an unneccesary conversation, so they walked to Scorpius' room in silence. Well, he walked, the Weasley nearly ran.

She knocked, but didn't wait for an answer, and stormed inside. Draco followed, and he was just about the scowl at her for waking Scorpius when his eyes went to what she was staring at. His eyes went wide and never had Draco Malfoy been more reluctant to admit that Ginny Weasley, or Potter, had been right.

Scorpius smirked as Albus moved to straddle him, resting his hands on the boy's hips and enjoying having him so close. Really, as much as he hated that he might make Albus ill, he was thankful that he had the company. And as they started kissing he admired just how nice the company was. He wrapped a hand round the back of Albus' neck, pulling him closer and deepening the kiss, thoroughly enjoying himself.

Until his door opened. And he hoped so hard that it was his mother.

As soon as it did he let go of Albus, cursing the fact that the boy was kind of trapping him and making it a little difficult to escape. He could feel his face heating up at the sight of a mother, though not his, in the doorway, swallowing a lump in his throat and wondering how on earth this could get worse.

Oh no wait, there it was.

Scorpius locked eyes with his father's, reminding himself to never tempt fate again, mood completely gone. He just wished the ground would open up and swallow him. At least that way he'd be away from parentals and safe to continue what they were doing. He opened his mouth to say something, but failed to think of anything to say, and simply let Mrs Potter tell her son off. He was fully prepared to blame Albus.

Albus grinned into the kiss when Scorpius pulled him closer. His arms went around the boy's neck as their lips moved together. He'd missed this, their closeness, and of course, just the kisses. He missed it while they were apart. This was most likely the most pleasurable thing that had happened to him during the whole summer. That was, at least, until he heard the door swing open behind him. He didn't move for a moment, a silent mantra repeating in his head at top speed.

'Please let it be a house elf. Or Scor's mother. Or the wind. Or a house elf. Scor's mum. House elf. Wind.'

But of course, there was no such luck. His mother's voice seemed to shock him into movement, and Al tried to get away from Scorpius so fast he lost balance and accidentally threw himself off the bed, staring up at his mother. And, if just his mother wasn't enough yet, Mister Malfoy was standing in the doorway as well.

For a pair of Slytherins they were certainly crap at keeping secrets.

"I wasn't very hungry," Al answered his mother in a nervous voice, the sentence almost coming out as a question. He wished he could roll under Scorpius bed and just never come out again.

Piles of Sickness Empty
PostSubject: Re: Piles of Sickness   Piles of Sickness EmptyWed Aug 15, 2012 8:43 pm

Ginny watched as Albus tried to get away and ended up on the floor, glancing between him and Scorpius, who seemed a bit preoccupied with watching his dad for a reaction. What would Draco's reaction be? Though she wasn't sure she could care at that moment seeing as she was still kind of trying to figure out what her own reaction would be. She was, after all, definitely not overly fond of the Malfoy boy in the first place.

"You weren't very hungry," Ginny repeated, eyes narrowing. "And you didn't think to tell me that you weren't very hungry? Or that you'd even left the house in the first place?" so she was going to go with angry as a reaction. That sounded like a good idea. "Instead you decide to sneak out and come to the Malfoy's house without an invitation and come up here without informing Scorpius' parents? I should think not young man, you're coming home with me and you're coming home right now."

She turned to Draco, a slightly tight but apologetic smile on her face. "Sorry about this, I'm sure he was just worried about Scorpius. I'll make sure you know he's coming round next time," Ginny turned back to where Albus was, giving him an expectant look and stepping to the side to give him room to leave before her.

Piles of Sickness Empty
PostSubject: Re: Piles of Sickness   Piles of Sickness EmptyMon Aug 20, 2012 6:50 am

Draco really wasn't sure what to say when the Potter boy rolled off his son and ended up on the floor. He didn't pay attention to the interaction going on between mother and son as he eyed Scorpius. Somehow he'd been expecting this, knowing it would only be a matter of time. Of course he'd hoped Scorpius would marry a nice pureblood girl, have a few children of his own and live the perfect life Draco Malfoy himself hoped for. But over the years, it became clear that wasn't what his son wanted. Only a fool, like a Gryffindor, would miss the interaction going on between his son and the Potter boy. And Draco was no fool.

When Weasley said she and Albus would leave, Draco just nodded. He watched Albus scramble off the floor and head out of the door, but not before giving his son another look. Weasley followed and Draco trusted them to find the way out, and if they didn't, a house elf would find them and bring them to the way. He had more important things to attend to.

Draco closed the door behind them and then leaned against it, crossing his arms over his chest. He wondered what to talk about first, the fact his son had been snogging another boy when he came in, or that he hadn't told him Albus was here in the first place. He decided to go with the first.

"Any reason why you didn't tell me?" he asked, raising a brow.
