Round Two Empty
PostSubject: Round Two   Round Two EmptySun Jun 17, 2012 9:00 pm

Lucy was fairly pleased with how the first date had gone but it wasn't really the best she thought she could do though, so she was hoping that the second would go better. The first one was fair though. Also, they were on their second date now. Lucy had to find out what was happening between them. Were they together and a couple or were they still just having a few dates with each other? Lucy needed to know.

This time the place of choice was somewhere a little more obvious than the Room of Requirement. A Sweet Bite in Hogsmeade was a lot quiter and more secluded than anywhere else and it had a nice and sweet element to it.

Lucy stood leaning against the wall beside the shop, waiting with a small red box with a yellow ribbon tied around it. This was another gift for Bea, and Lucy really hoped that she liked it. Perhaps it was a little bit too expensive but Lucy didn't care. It was her money and she could spend it how she wanted to.

((OOC: In the box there is a silver necklace with a small Gold Lion on the chain))

Round Two Empty
PostSubject: Re: Round Two   Round Two EmptyMon Jun 18, 2012 10:05 pm

Now that their first date was over, Bea was starting to believe that Lucy was actually interested in her and let herself get her hopes up. She really liked Lucy, so she really hoped the Gryffindor would like to be her girlfriend. She's never had a girlfriend or a boyfriend before, so she didn't know whether they were dating yet or not. She hoped they were. Having Lucy as a girlfriend would be very nice.

As soon as she got Lucy's owl for another date, excitement filled her and she couldn't get her grin off her face. It was a good change from her mood before. Her Dad was injured in the Ministry attack and was now recovering in Saint Mungo's. Well, they hoped he was recovering. Bea was very worried for him and for her Mum, who now spent all her free time in the hospital. So, yes, it was a very good thing Bea had Lucy to put her in a better mood.

This time, Bea wasn't wearing a dress, since it was still cold out and she knew they weren't going to spend their time in the castle. She dressed appropriately to the weather, that is boots, jeans, a warm sweater and her coat. She didn't like cold much.

She walked up to the shop where they agreed to meet and as soon as she saw Lucy, a big smile came over her face.
"Hi!" she said as she was close enough. She didn't know what to do, so she hugged the gorgeous Gryffindor in a way she hoped wasn't awkward.

Lucy smiled brightly when she seen that Bea was approaching and she pushed herself off against the wall. She was surprised when Bea hugged her but she returned the embrace warmly and happily. She squeezed Bea a little before reluctantly letting her go. Lucy looked Bea up and down and nodded her head in approval of what she was wearing.

"You are looking as lovely as always Bea." Lucy stated, winking at Bea. She was happy that Bea had actually turned up again, and she was also glad that she hadn't drove the other girl away on their first date.

"I have a gift for you." Lucy said, holding the box out for Bea to take. This one she hoped the girl appreciated, Lucy had thought hard on what to buy for her and she thought it was perfect.

Bea smiled at Lucy's compliment and fortunately, this time, she didn't blush. "Thank you. So are you." She didn't know what exactly was going on between them, but she was extremely happy she was a part of it and that someone was actually interested in her.

"Oh!" the Hufflepuff gasped as she took the box. "I didn't get you anything, I'm so sorry!" her smile faded and she felt so guilty. "I-I'm gonna buy you something today. Or if I don't find anything today, I'll buy it next time or, or order it from somewhere and send you it. Is that good?" she breathed deeply and looked down at the box as if she just realized she got a gift.

Flushed, she opened the gift box and gasped once again. Only this time, she didn't find any words to express what she was feeling. She slowly took the necklace out and stared at it. It was so beautiful she could cry but she didn't want to do that, Lucy might get a wrong impression.

"Lucy..." she finally breathed, looking up from the gorgeous necklace to the Gryffindor, a smile on her lips. "I don't know what to say, it's... it's so pretty!" She leaned in and kissed the girl, not even thinking that that was actually their first real kiss.

Lucy was so glad to see that Bea appeared to be pleased with her gift, but then her expression changed. Lucy was not particularly pleased that it had happened.

"Bea, a gift is given with no expectation to recieve anything else. That is what makes it a gift." Lucy explained, hoping to impress upon Bea that she didn't want anything in return for the gift that she had just given.

When Bea opened the box, Lucy was both satisfied and relieved to see that Bea was once more focused on the gift, and not on repaying Lucy in any way at all. She pulled the necklace out of the box and Lucy smiled brightly as she noted Bea's bright smile.

Lucy was surprised to say the least when Bea leaned in and kissed her. This lasted only for a split second and then Bea became more fully involved in the kiss. She wrapped one arm around Bea's waist, pulling the girl flush against her. With her other hand, Lucy ran her fingers through Bea's hair, deepening the kiss a little further, but not far enough to frighten Bea.

At Lucy's words, Bea felt a wave of relief. She was still planning on getting her something, but not because the Gryffindor had given her a gift. It was just a nice gesture.
"Well, thank you." she said with a smile.

As the other girl pulled her closer, Bea wrapped her arms around Lucy's waist, the necklace still in her hands, and kissed her back. She was hoping her kissing was good enough for Lucy, but she didn't know, as this was her first kiss. It was terrifying to think that, so she just focused on the kiss and how soft Lucy's lips were.

After a little while, Bea pulled back a bit, so she was still able to hold the Gryffindor. She smiled happily, looking in Lucy's eyes. She didn't think she's ever been this happy before.

"So, er... Where d'you wanna go?" she asked, as it was quite cold outside. She loved kissing Lucy, but she was also a bit hungry, seeing as she was too nervous about the date to eat anything before. Otherwise, she'd be quite happy to just be there with Lucy.

Lucy was very glad that Bea appreciated the gift and was even happier that not only did she like it, but that she liked it enough to kiss her. The kiss was wonderful and Lucy could barely resist smiling as she felt Bea's arms around her waist. Clearly it seemed to her that Bea was enjoying the kiss, either that or she wanted Lucy to stop. That idea was repulsive to Lucy and she was happy that Bea broke the kiss and pulled back, just incase.

"Did you like it?" Lucy asked hopefully. She was smiling so Lucy was guessing that Bea had liked the kiss.

"I was thinking inside here?" Lucy said, gesturing behind her to the sweet bite shop.

"I like the food here, it's nice." Lucy explained.

Round Two Empty
PostSubject: Re: Round Two   Round Two EmptyFri Jun 29, 2012 8:43 am

Kissing Lucy is what Bea imagined what heaven would be like. So, when the girl asked if she liked it, the Hufflepuff nodded happily, never wanting to let go. Holding Lucy in her arms felt so wonderful and so right, Bea didn't notice or mind the looks people passing them gave them.

"I liked it a lot." she kept smiling. Then, of course, a very annoying voice in her head spoke up and told her that Lucy probably didn't enjoy the kiss. So, Bea nervously asked the other girl, "And you?" She really hoped Lucy was enjoying herself.

"Sounds good. I don't think I've ever been." Bea told her, now removing her arms from Lucy's waist, seeing they couldn't exactly move in the position they were in now, even though it felt amazing.

She then realized she was still holding Lucy's necklace and she put it on, still smiling like an idiot.

Round Two Empty
PostSubject: Re: Round Two   Round Two EmptyFri Jun 29, 2012 7:11 pm

Lucy was pleased to hear that Bea had in fact liked the kiss, and it made her feel a lot better about kissing her. So, it was definatly something that Lucy was gonna spend more of her time doing, when she could get away with it of course. Sometimes, it unfortunatly just was not appropriate.

As observant as always, Lucy noticed a few people looking strangely at them as they walked past. Lucy's response was to draw Bea into a quick hug and glare murderously over her shoulder at some of the people behind them. They hurried on faster after that, and Lucy released Bea. It was very well timed, as Bea herself removed her hands from around Lucy's waist.

"Oh I certainly did. Just looking at you now makes me want to kiss those sugar sweet lips again." Lucy murmered quietly. Bea went to put the necklace on, but Lucy grabbed hold of Bea's hands to stop her.

"Let me." Lucy prised the necklace out of Bea's hands and placed the necklace round her neck, securing the catch properly. Lucy took a step back to admire Bea.

"That looks lovely on you." Lucy said, nodding her head admiringly.

"It's very nice, come on let's go." Lucy suggested, grasping Bea's hand and pulling her towards the cafe.

Bea was still looking at Lucy, thinking about how beautiful she was, when the Gryffindor pulled her in a sudden hug. She hugged back, a little surprised, but still enjoying the physical contact. If she had known kissing and hugging people was so good, she might have started making conversation with people a long time ago.

As Lucy said she enjoyed the kiss, Bea grinned and at her next words, she felt her cheeks grow red, something that hasn't happened in a while. She didn't know what to say to that, so she just smiled and went to put on the necklace. It seemed like a good thing to do.

"Oh. Okay." Bea let Lucy put the necklace on her and she found herself thinking she really liked this girl. It would usually scare her, and it did now as well, but she was feeling too happy about it to let the fear take it's toll.

"Thank you. It's really beautiful." she replied, still determined she will buy Lucy something as well.

Bea took Lucy's hand and followed her in the coffee shop. "I trust your taste." she smiled.

Thank Merlin, it wasn't too crowded when they entered, there were only a few people in there and there were plenty of free tables.

"Where do you wanna sit?" she asked Lucy.

Round Two Empty
PostSubject: Re: Round Two   Round Two EmptyMon Jul 16, 2012 12:00 am

Lucy was happy, to say the least. She was having a nice day, with a beautiful girl close to her. A beautiful girl who was interested in her, and not just because she was good looking for once. It was a welcome and refreshing change to be in a relationship with someone who appreciated her for who she actually was inside.

She was also very glad that Bea actually let her clip the necklace on over her neck, rather than insisting on doing it herself. Lucy hated that in girl's, she really and truely did. The whole point of the gesture was to let Lucy do it for her. Lucy took a step back and turned Bea round to face her. She nodded her head approvingly.

"That looks beautiful on you Bea. Even more beautiful than ever before." Lucy stated, grasping Bea's hand tightly as they made their way into the coffee shop. Bea asked where they should sit and Lucy tried not to shrug. She didn't care particularly where they sat to be perfectly honest.

"How about over there?" Lucy asked, gesturing to a small table in a secluded corner. The tables surrounding it were empty as well. Lucy led Bea to the table and pulled a chair out for her.

"After you my sweet." Lucy said softly.

Round Two Empty
PostSubject: Re: Round Two   Round Two EmptyFri Jul 27, 2012 3:57 am

Bea felt like she was in one of those romantic comedies her Mum liked so much. The scene where a boy (it's never two girls or two boys!) buys an incredibly beautiful necklace to the girl and she's all ecstatic about it and then he puts the necklace on her neck and then they gaze into each other's eyes and lovely music is playing in the background. That's how Bea felt right then. Sans the music.

"Thanks... It is very beautiful, thank you again. Really." she felt like she couldn't thank her enough. She took Lucy's hand as the girl grasped hers and tried to hide her smile unsuccessfully.

"Seems good." Bea agreed and followed Lucy to the table. It was perfect, secluded from other tables but not so much that it would seem weird sitting there. "You don't have to do that!" she chuckled as Lucy pulled a chair out for her, but she sat down anyway. "Now who will do that for you if I'm already sitting?" she asked, a small smile playing on her lips.

She was feeling a lot more comfortable around Lucy lately and that put her in a good mood. And that was very good, because she was starting to feel nervous about NEWTSs and her future and where she'll live and a million other little things about that, so she was very happy she had this date with Lucy to take her mind off of things. Kiva helped as well, but she was worried about her OWLs.
