Tear Down the Walls Empty
PostSubject: Tear Down the Walls   Tear Down the Walls EmptyMon Jul 30, 2012 5:00 am

Fun and frolicking has always been beneath her.

Kate prided herself on several main things. The first, her ability to throw scissors like some kind of weird and twisted version of a ninja shuriken just as well as any trained professional could. The second was her knack of causing fear and panic among children, and sometimes adults even. But that was usually only when she was brandishing and throwing her pairs of scissors. The third was how she could reduce a grown man to tears if the inclination ever struck her. And the fourth was how she'd been able to hold it together for her sisters through the time when they still lived with their dad. Though she would be glad to boast, very loudly, about the first three things to anyone who'd listen, the fourth she liked to keep her personal close-guard secret.

And because of these four things, in her mind, it put Kate on a level far higher than the level in which all her other peers and classmates stood. She was superior because of these things, and she didn't need childish toys or anything else to entertain her. She would never have degraded herself to visit such a place like this.

She would, however, only if one person had asked her to.

"How much longer do we have to stay?" she asked, crossing her arms and tapping her foot impatiently. "Come on, Ruth, it's embarassing to be here. How much of this shit can you buy?"

Ruth had always loved Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. In fact it was one of her most favorite places to visit whenever she went to Hogsmeade. She was truly a child at heart and what better way to express that then a joke shop? She didn't understand how anyone could hate it, especially her own best friend. Their personalities clashed a lot, but Ruth couldn't help but to adore the Slytherin. That's why most of what she bought she would end up using on her.

"You know I love it here." Ruth insisted. "Lighten up a little." She turned to Kate and flashed her a grin before her attention was caught by a display of pygmy puff. She walked past her friend and over to the display before picking one up and cuddling it to her face. "Aren't they just adorable, Kate?" She asked cooing at the furball. She was tempted to buy one but she already had Mr. Muggles, her family cat.
