Crying alone

Naomi was sitting in a darkened corner of the library, reading a book. Despite trying not to hate herself for becoming a werewolf that night she was still scared. She managed to keep it a secret from most of her friends that she was bitten and infected but the thought of people finding out and shunning her still scared her.

Tears welled up in her eyes at the thought and a sob left her lips. She dropped the book onto the table and placed her face in her hands, her shoulders shaking as she sobbed quietly. It was her fault that she got bitten and she couldn't blame anyone but herself on that. She didn't want to admit it but she was scared of being left alone and not having any friends.

The blond girl, despite trying desperately to keep herself together, could not stop the tears and they just poured out from her eyes. She could faintly hear and smell someone coming closer but she didn't pay heed to it.
