Personality: Trevor lives in the moment, not really caring about the consequences. This has, on numerous occassions, gotten him slapped, but he tends to shake it off. When he meets new people he automatically treats them like they're his best friend. Some people have found this weird in the past, but nobody's actually commented on it. Mostly because when they do try to comment on it, Trevor just smiles and changes the subject.

Weaknesses: Squib, Gullible, Clumsy, Talks too much sometimes, Doesn't think ahead

History:

When James Bloem met Mary MacElroy, he had one dead wife and five-year-old daughter. Mary was still young, and she first thought that James was a bit full of himself. However, over about a year, she found herself falling in love with him and the two started a relationship. Trevor was the happy result.

Trevor was always fascinated with the wizarding world and longed to get on the Hogwarts Express with Mallory, but his parents always told him he was too young. He used to steal his half-sister's school books when she was home for the holidays, then he would sit up all through the night trying to make spells work. The History of Magic texts were his favourite, closely followed by Care of Magical Creatures which was also Mallory's preferred subject. He planned out his whole career in his head, changing it each year.

When his eleventh birthday came and went and no owl delivered a letter, Trevor sunk into a depression. His worst fears had been realised: he was a squib and would never attend Hogwarts. For years after that he would yell at Mallory every time he saw her. Why was she, a half-blood, able to use magic when he, whose parents were both wizards, wasn't? It wasn't fair. He went to a muggle highschool and tried to fit in, but never felt quite at home. He knew about magic and they didn't, it was as simple as that. Somehow, the idea of playing football didn't seem so exciting when he compared it to Quidditch and the other kids didn't want to hang out with 'that weirdo who draws broomsticks all over his math homework'.

It was only when he was fifteen and Mallory handed him her, then quite small, son that he started to cheer up. He wasn't a wizard, but this kid probably would be and he'd need all the help he could get. Trevor started reading more of his sister's books, getting clued up on the Wizarding world. He'd be prepared to answer any question his nephew had, now matter how small. At about the same time, Trevor started to excel at his music lessons in school. That was when he had a new dream: he would combine his knowledge of music and magic to become be the front man of the greatest band the world had ever known!

Unfortunately, his songs about broomsticks and magic children didn't exactly bowl people over and Trevor's music career never took off. In fact, nothing at all seemed to take off after he left college. He had debts which needed paying, pretty much no friends, and he was running out of hair gel. There was only one thing he could think to do. He'd see if the wizarding world had a place for him

After months of studying, Trevor succeeded in getting full marks for his WOMBAT Grade 3 as well as five NEWTs (only theory of course). Then, since those who can't do, teach, he applied for a teaching post at Hogwarts. Luckily, it turned out that Professor McGonagall had been looking for a new teacher to replace Professor Binns, the ghost History of Magic professor.

Finally, things seemed to be going Trevor's way.
