It hadn't taken long for Professor Trevor Bloem to impose his own sense of style onto his new office. Luckily, the previous teacher had left behind most of his stuff so it had been half decorated by the time he arrived.
One wall was taken up with tall bookshelves, filled with thick, dusty tomes detailing various historical events. He hadn't had time to read all these yet, but he was planning on reading them all by the time he left. The opposite wall was entirely Trevor's doing and had been completely covered by posters of various musical acts which he'd collected over the years. There was a mixture of stationary muggle posters placed next to moving magical ones, so the entire wall popped with colour and activity.
In the back corner, behind his desk (which, again, had been left by the room's previous occupant) and next to the large window, Trevor had set out his precious guitar and cello. Then, tucked into the corner, was a small stereo which his sister had bewitched to run on magic and not electricity so that it would work at Hogwarts. A rack of CDs was just beside this, all CDs in alphabetical order for ease of locating.
That day, Trevor had felt the need for some tunes and had just selected a CD at random from his extensive collection. However, as soon as he pressed play there was a knock on the door. Beaming, he leapt to his feet and trotted to the front of his office, throwing the door open and stepping out into the hall.
"Hello! How can I help you?"
